We oppose both ISIL, Syria: Turkey PM
Referring to another acronym for the terrorist group, Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday that the country" is against ISIS just the same way that it is against Assad."

"Assad and ISIS are both responsible for all these events and tragedies," he claimed.

Ankara faces accusations of providing logistical support for the militants and enabling their passage through its soil.

Davutoglu, however, said, "No one can prove that Turkey is supporting ISIS."

Separately, at least 33 people have been killed in Turkey in a protest rally against the Turkish government’s policies toward the group.

The pro-Kurdish demonstrators are protesting the government’s inaction over the crimes the ISIL militants are committing in the Syrian border town of Kobane.

The ISIL militants made swift advances in much of northern and western Iraq over the summer, after capturing large swathes of territory in neighboring Syria.
