That is how the Syrian people achieved victory... through rejection and imposition

On that day, Syria rejected the subordination and dictation and imposed paths to get out, along with the region, of the crisis represented in the aggression launched against it. On that day, Syria conducted the elections that exceeded in effect the elections of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic to reach to the level of settling the global war being mounted on Syria and on the axis of resistance, to which it belongs. This war was led by the hardest states, the richest, and the most capable ones in the world, and aimed at controlling Syria, displacing it, confiscating its decision and its riches, enslaving its people, and dismantling the axis of resistance in favor of the Zionist-American project. Those who created this project believe firmly that its success in the region depends on dropping Syria of its strategic location, being created by it for itself thanks to its wise leadership ever since 44 years, so it invested its Syrian political geography to create a vital strategic space beyond its borders. Syria withstood for 40 months and a half and contained the aggression and turned it down. It translated its victory and also it crowned it through extraordinary presidential elections in all its dimensions and its implications. It astonished the observers and led them to search for the reasons for its success and to determine what will be its effects. 
 
Hence, relying on an uninterrupted follow-up of the course of the war-aggression and what accompanied it of positions at various levels on the one hand, and the counter positions of defense and resistance, as well as searching for the factors that created an environment of victory and enabled it to achieve this on the other hand, we believe that Syria mobilized for the confrontation what it has been previously preparing for to defend including what has been available of its present causes and in particular we mention here:
1)    Establishing a deeply rooted state in Syria; a state perfectly build by late President Hafez al-Assad, who looked realistically to things and avoided building a state that is only relying on one person as is the case in the Third World. He has built a state of institutions that is close to the people and is based on the distribution of national tasks and their integration with the expansion of their bases, and ideologically loading them with the nationalist and national ideology that is based on vigor and on invoking the rights and the independent decision as well as the willingness to sacrifice in favor of that by facing any aggression by the sword of righteous whatever its source and goals were. Here, I recall a question that a foreign-western man questioning “the fate of Syria after Hafez al-Assad” asked me it 20 years ago. I answered him “it will remain Syria and will continue the extension and accumulation of the achievements of al-Assad, because Syria is a deeply rooted state that is based on institutions”. President Bashar al-Assad stressed through his leadership of the state the continuation of the development and the accumulation of achievements, and thus the people came to the polls to approve a good march and to authorize the President to pursue the construction on the same national approach itself in which he is excellent as the leader of a deeply rooted state that can never be quivered by a wind from here or a tornado or fire from there. 

2)    Building a defensive military force; it is a force obtained by Syria alone and was reinforced by its alliances, and thus it enabled it of making miracles in the field in a way that dropped the aggression and dropped its cards one by one, which has only a dead end horizon and disinfected goals remaining. Here we also recall how Syria managed its defensive battle and has divided its goals into three levels: a strategic, an operational and a security level, and its military achievements came to achieve a strategic victory by cutting off the road in front of the aggression and preventing it from achieving its purpose to bring Syria down permanently. It also achieved 70% of what is required in the field and the other ratio remained only a matter of time, and what is remaining is the security level that is represented in prosecuting terrorism and cleansing the dens and nests, yet Syria should share this issue with the region as a whole as well as with the world. 

3)    The courageousness of the Syrian people, their steadfastness and consciousness helped in exposing the lie of the “Revolution” and in revealing the fact of the external aggression on it. Therefore, we can say that the people have made a real revolution through heading towards the polls and refusing the forged revolution that has been made and fabricated by abroad elements that used cheap internal and regional tools. 

Syria has mastered the building and the using of the triangle of force and was able to survive and succeed in the defensive war. It has been able to: 
1)    To contain and absorb the attack and to maintain the state with its structure that is capable of managing the defense and able to muster strength at home and abroad. This has been reflected in the cohesion of the army and its field abilities and in the stability of the diplomatic body and its effectiveness what opened the way in front of the strategic or the interim allies for offering assistance and aid. If Syria did not hold up, no one would have been able to help it at home and abroad. 

2)    To restore the confidence of those whose trust in the state has quivered at the beginning of the war, especially after the aggressor has been able to distort the ideas of some of the Syrian classes, where some people became under the banner of aggression, while others stayed at a gray area. Then, things differed and Syria through its steadfastness and field miraculous achievements and reconciliations led by it by keeping up with the psychological and media warfare was able to influence the seduced people what led to wasting the gray class of people away and to strengthening the overwhelming majority who remained adhere to their state. For this we found how the surveys conducted by the intelligence services of the countries of aggression recorded a surge in the popularity of President Bashar al-Assad, a gradient of 55 to 62 to 73 to 78%, and this is the main reason why the leadership of aggression insisted on rejecting the elections and adhering to the interim period, where the referees are being appointed away from the will of the people. 

3)    The success of the state in keeping the core land that has a demographic heavyweights, and staying connected to the state’s strategic heavyweight areas enabled the accommodation of those who were displaced from areas of engagement at home and embraced them, and here we must not forget that the seven millions who have been displaced are divided into two parts, 80% of them found accommodation in the Syrian interior and only 20% left the Syrian territory. This enabled the Syrian people, despite their displacement, to practice their electoral right with this intensity that was never reached before by the countries of the West in their best security and living conditions. 

These facts imposed a reality being imposed in turn by the Syrian people on everyone, including those who became committed to deal with it as constants that cannot be overlooked, stressing: 
1)    That President Bashar al-Assad is a national teacher chosen by the Syrian people as a commander and thus that any claim to represent the people away from President Al-Assad is but only a fraud and imitation that should be addressed by all means. President Bashar al-Assad is the only one authorized to speak on behalf of the Syrian people, and is authorized to develop solutions and to make decisions on behalf of the people, and what was going to be accepted or was allowed to be said before the election in terms of the solutions, the compromises, and assigning sides that represent the people in addition to the president or away from him, became now impossible to be adopted or accepted under any name. This comes especially that the elections have exposed a group of hotel guests who pretended to be rebels and to be representing the people and have as well showed their misrepresentation and their reality i.e. that they are a handful of down agents who represent no one in Syria.
 
2)    Those who are fighting the Syrian state and arming the terrorists in Syria are the enemies of the Syrian people and are violating Syria’s security and stability. The elections have toppled, have exposed the falsity of the saying: “the regime that kills its people”, and have showed the glaring fact that the regime is protecting its people and defending them in the face of aggression, but those who are killing the people are those who are using arms against the state or are arming the terrorists. 

3)    Those who supported the Syrian government and helped it to fight the terrorists are real champions for the Syrian people, and here we should put emphasis on the national and moral role of Hezbollah in providing field assistance to Syria in the known border. 
The Syrian presidential elections settled a lot of important issues and became the only path to resolve the well-defined crisis, and as President Assad said in the early days of the aggression, it is two complementary paths of two branches. The first is the path of a political reform that would be achieved by the Syrians through their dialogue on the land of Syria without foreign intervention, and the elections confirmed that this dialogue should be conducted by President Bashar al-Assad whose mandate has been renewed popularly. However, the second is a security military path and the Syrian Arab forces would be in charge of its inner part led by President Bashar al-Assad as the commanding general of the Army and the armed forces, what facilitates recruiting the volunteers out of the allies if possible (as long as the war is universal), and the countries neighboring Syria would be in charge of its outer part by controlling their borders and preventing the terrorists from infiltrating through them as well as by preventing their supply of the tools of crime and murder. Also, the rest of the countries of the world can engage in this path especially those who participated in the aggression against Syria in any way, and this aims at drying the sources of terrorism. The operations of confrontation became now much easier after the election gave a great impetus to them, for there is an exchange in effect between the field and politics. As the field contributed to creating the environment of political success, the elections contributed to providing better opportunities for the victory in the field. 

Finally, we must emphasize that the elections constituted a general referendum on more than one subject that is related to Syria and the region. The Syrian people have confirmed the identity of the Syrian people, the identity of one Syria, its location and its future and have rejected any foreign interference of any kind and nature, including everything related to it with the exception of what we have mentioned. Based upon this, the UN should respect the will of the Syrian people and should not bother itself in preparing for its conferences outside Syria assuming to be searching for a peaceful solution as it claims. Moreover, it should not waste its time in interpreting the data and documents from the Geneva I or others, and should not strain itself in searching for a successor to Al-Akhdar Brahimi, who resigned and who failed to promote the Zionist-American project. Syria only wants the United Nations to work to respect its charter, to prevent the foreign intervention in the internal affairs of Syria, and to dry the sources of terrorism coming to Syria from 83 foreign countries, and Syria is able to manage its affairs by itself regarding everything else. This comes especially after its people proved that they are courage enough and have astonished the world in their commitment to their sovereignty and their independent decision. Syria is not in need for the crocodile tears of the enemies of the Syrian people who are passing themselves off as friends and are holding conferences on behalf of the friends of Syria, and then they come forth with a lethal or non-lethal weapons to destroy it as the United States and those who follow it are doing.
