The New York Police Department said Monday that the white powder inside the envelope addressed to her husband, Donald Trump, Jr was nonhazardous.

As the news broke out concerns were raised that the letter could be  an anthrax attack.

"How disturbed must a person be to do what they did to a mother of five young children?” said Michael Cohen, a longtime personal attorney to Donald Trump and his family’s company. "This dangerous and reckless act goes beyond political differences."

Meanwhile, the Secret Service said it was investigating a "suspicious package" addressed to someone it protects in New York.

"This is an active investigation and we cannot comment any further," U.S. Secret Service spokesman Shawn Holtzclaw said in a statement emailed to Politico.

The New York Fire Department also confirmed that three individuals were transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital after responding to a call after 10 am.
