Top Russian Muslim Cleric : Iran's Leader Striving for Peace, Justice

Russia's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin who is the head of Russia’s Mufti Council as well as the head of the Department of Religious Affairs of Russia in a message to the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said: "Your invitation to spirituality and global moral values is the continuation of Muslim traditions in the direction of establishing justice and consolidating peace."

According to Iran Press based on the information center of the Department of Religious Affairs of Russian Muslims, Sheikh Gainutdin issued the message on the occasion of the birthday of Iran’s Leader.

“All your activities and efforts for the unity of the world nations are aimed at fulfilling the orders of the God Almighty”, he wrote.

This message states: "Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, I congratulate you on your 85th birthday on behalf of the Department of Religious Affairs of Russian Muslims, the Council of Muftis and the 25 million people of Russia, and pray to God Almighty to bless you with happiness and divine grace."

Sheikh Gainutdin also wrote that Ayatollah Khamenei is a respected and well-known Muslim figure and the spiritual leader of the Iranian people. People who are inheritors of a rich history and represent an important and influential part of the Islamic world.

May God accept your worthy and pious efforts in line with the blessed religion of Islam and the interests of Muslims to establish a just world order, he concluded the message.
