Venezuela Says Israel to Be Blamed for Situation in West Asia

Following Iran's retaliatory attack on "Israel", described widely as unprecedented, the Venezuelan government issued a statement in support of Palestine, stressing that the situation of instability in the Middle East is due to the Israeli genocide against Gaza and the "irrationality of the Israeli regime," according to Al-Mayadeen.

The statement read, "The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela follows the worrying developments developing in the Middle East."

The government's statement highlighted the worsening instability in the region, particularly in recent weeks, blaming it on "Israel's" irrationality and its genocide in Palestine, in addition to the United Nations' inaction. 

Peace, Venezuela said, can only be guaranteed "once justice and International Law are reestablished, mainly with regard to the Palestinian people and State."

"Venezuela advocates the construction of peace with justice as most countries in the world want," the statement emphasized.
