Several Terror Groups Dismantled in Iran
The teams were dismantled before conducting any act of terror, thanks to endeavours by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s Intelligence Unit in Kerman and the provincial department of the Intelligence Ministry, Hamidi stated on Sunday.

He added that intelligence agents across the country have a hard task to do, referring to the enemies' plots to create insecurity and instability in Iran through terror outfits.

Back in early January, twin bombings occurred on near the burial site of Iran’s anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in the Southeastern city of Kerman during a ceremony marking the fourth anniversary of his martyrdom. The blasts martyred more than 90 people, including several children and women.

In mid-January, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said 35 individuals have been captured in six provinces in connection with the twin explosions, adding the manhunt has expanded to foreign states for the remaining elements.

Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Police Affairs Majid Mirahmadi stated in late January that the country’s security agents have managed to disband 10 terror teams after the terror attack.

Iranian security agents have in recent years disbanded several terrorist networks across the country. Iranian military officials have warned neighboring countries to observe the principle of good neighborliness and not allow destabilizing activities on their soil.

Tehran has stressed terrorists carrying out attacks against Iranian interests have known links to the United States, the Zionist regime as well as a number of regional countries.
