Islam Times - Islamic Jihad Official: Zionist Regime Failed to Achieve its Goals in Gaza

Islam Times - The Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement has said that the Zionist regime failed to achieve any of its goals despite pounding the Gaza Strip relentlessly for over the last six months.

Mohammed Al-Hindi said on Monday that the occupiers will not be able to free a single Israeli captive from Gaza except through negotiations.

We did not close the doors of negotiations and the Resistance has presented its point of view with the aim of stopping the war on the Gaza Strip, he said.

The Resistance showed great flexibility in the negotiations and agreed to the gradual withdrawal of the occupying regime's army from the Gaza Strip.

The Deputy Secretary General of Islamic Jihad blamed Zionist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for wanting to prolong the genocide in Gaza, he added, arguing that stopping the war would mean an end to Netanyahu’s political career.

“The occupying regime cannot achieve any of its goals in the Gaza Strip and as long as the aggression continues, the resistance will continue, al-Hindi stressed.

In the end, he said that the Zionists will never be able to dominate the West Asia region as Netanyahu and his key backer the US government want.
