ISIL burn houses in Al Hasakah

Villagers loyal to the Syrian government took it upon themselves this week to fight off and oppose ISIL militants, keen to prevent the group from expanding their hold over the region.

They managed in an ambush attack to kill six terror operatives, hence the revenge raid onto the village.

Several shops and homes were looted in the raid. 11 people were kidnapped by ISIL.

As the Syrian army has advanced against the terror group, more Syrians have found the courage to stand up to Daash, confident the state is doing its utmost to eliminate all Islamic radicals.
