The experts believe that under the agreement, beside the US drone attacks, the NATO forces can also chase the suspected terrorist five kilometres inside the Pakistani territory. During the last six year, as result of the drone attacks many of the key figures of Taliban and Al-Qaeda were eliminated.

According to him, such deal was inked in the tenure of General retired Pervez Musharraf and the present government is implementing the covert accord as successor of the Musharraf’s regime.

Another former commander of the Pakistan Air Force also admitted that the secret deal was signed in the Musharraf’s regime.

Air Marshal retired, Kaleem Sa’adat disclosed that the foreign forces under the American command are allowed to continue air strikes in the Pakistani border areas. He said that Pakistan has ability to launch anti-drone strike but it can not do such action in the presence of the bilateral deal.

Though Pakistan did not spread any information about the secret agreement on drone strikes but it also did not reject the claim about the existence of the deal.

Meanwhile, A former Pakistan’s Army Chief termed the US air strikes as violation of aerial boundaries of the country.

Although the government of Pakistan has not shown any considerable reaction on the attacks but strong hit back was reported on the killing of three Pakistani soldiers in an aerial attack at the border area a month ago.

The reaction had caused sever tension between the government of Pakistan and NATO’s command. It was for the first time, the government took tough response on the NATO’s helicopters’ operation inside Pakistan.

Pakistan had cut the supply line to NATO’s forces in Afghanistan in the reaction of the killing of the soldiers deployed at a border check post by the American led military helicopters.

The supply line through Torkham border was restored after the apology by the NATO’s command specially US government after ten days of the attack.

Attacks on the NATO’s containers had been also increased in the period and a number of drivers and helpers of the containers were also killed in the assaults in the different Pakistani cities.

Some reliable sources in Islamabad told that Washington wants to continue the its military operation in the North Waziristan against the Haqqani’s network but Pakistan avoiding the broad operation by favouring only drone attacks.

The US drones have violated the Pakistan airspace for 80 times in the current year which caused a number of deaths in the tribal areas.

The US government has recently announced two billions dollars extra military assistance for Pakistan to continue operation against the suspected terrorists in the tribal areas.

Elaborating about the reason of the emerging US drone attacks in Pakistan, the senior expert associated with the Tribal Areas Research Institute, Dr.Ashraf said, it is because of US mid term elections in near future.

He said, the attacks may further increase to attract the American people about the seriousness of the Obama’s administration against the terrorists.
