France crackdowns on jihadist cells
Citing police source, the news channel BFMTV said two men and a woman have been arrested at 06:00 local time (0400 GMT) in Albi, southern France on charges of Syrian jihadist ring.

Two of the suspects have returned recently from Syria, one of them a presumed recruiter of fighters to join the combat in the conflict-torn Arab country.

France has reinforced measures to dismantle terrorist cells and crack down on self-radicalized nationals planning attacks in the country after returning from Syria.

With the terror threat constantly increasing, the French Socialists' introduced an anti-jihad bill to allow authorities to ban French nationals, suspected of having ties with jihadist cells, from leaving the country for an indefinite period.

The bill also allows the blocking of websites that encourage jihad.

About 800 French nationals and residents have joined the Syrian civil war, with 300 nationals still in the war-torn country and 30 dead so far.
