Faqih said in a statement the there is confirmed information that indicates the death of a number of prisoners after clashes between detainees and guards. He asked the Saudi people to increase protests and marches to Al-Hayer prison Alhaar in order to stop the repressive campaigns against the detainees.
The Saudi dissident explained that there are huge military preparations in Al-Hayer, as well as a number of leaders and officials of the Saudi regime had come to jail, noting that this should be enough to provoke the lowest degree of responsibility.
Faqih noted that al-Hayer prison is a closed area and owned by a group known for its discretion and has a history of repression and torture, thus we must take immediate precautions.
Saad al-Faqih also called popular political and religious leaders in Saudi to initiate a movement to end the oppression taking place in the country. He requested for immediate action by everyone who is able to stop the prisoners’ massacre. Faqih ended his statement by explaining that the easiest way to stop the tyranny is to reach Al-Hayer in any possible way, just as requested by the relatives of the detainees.
Social activists on (Twitter) said that there is turbulence in Al-Hayer prison in Saudi Arabia. News reported that emergency forces entered the prison and the occurrence of violent clashes.
At the same time, there is an escalation in the mass movement that demands the release of thousands of Saudi detainees because of their political views without any charges or trials.
The families of the Saudi detainees organized a sit-in at “Naheel Plaza” where they were opposed by security forces that have arrested 10 women. The activists spoke about organizing a protest in front of the prison to pressure them to release their loved ones.
Sheikh "Mohammed bin Saad Al Mofreh" (Member of the High Islamic Umma Party) said: “The French Revolution started by storming into the Bastille prison. Will our Revolution begins by storming into Al-Hayer prison?”
