Massive attack thwarted

Thwart a massive attack on the Hamrin Dam and killed 50 militants .

Provincial police chief Maj. Gen. Jamil al-Shammari told reporters that local forces managed to force back terror militants in Hamrin after they attempted to seize control of key infrastructures in the region.

In the fighting eight vehicles belonging to Daash were destroyed and 50 terror militants were killed. Daash’s attempt to gain control over the dam was thankfully averted.
