Radical cleric calls for the beheading of the Houthis

In the video a famous Saudi cleric, Khaled al Ghambi is seen calling for his followers and all Sunni Muslims to take up arms against the Houthis.

This open incitement to murder has profoundly shocked the social network community as many users have finally been put face to face with the nefarious nature of Saudi Arabia’s anti-Shia narrative.

Saudi Arabia has often promoted sectarian-based hatred, always labelling Shia Muslims as apostates and religious pariahs needing to be disposed of.

In this video the Sheikh actually argues that the Houthis are not real Muslims, making the case for their “elimination.”

It is important to note that it is exactly this type of violent, brutal and racist narrative which Daash has carried and promoted across the Middle East and North Africa.

Ever since the Houthis have seized control over the Yemeni capital, thus liberating the Yemeni people form the yoke of Saudi Arabia and meddling western powers, Riyadh has launched a vicious campaign against the group, attempting to ignite sectarian hatred to promote its hegemonic agenda in the Peninsula.

As Saudi Arabia seeks to ignite a war in Yemen, Abdel-Malek Al Houthis has called for unity and religious tolerance, reminding the Yemenis that it was Imam Ali (AS) who brought Islam to Yemen, forever linking Yemen to the House of the Prophet (PBUH).

It is crucial to note that over 40% of all Yemenis are Zaidi Muslims, hardly a minority.

The repercussions of such irresponsible and amoral calls for bloodshed and religious hatred would be absolutely devastating for the impoverished and fragile nation.
