Islam Times - A shooting incident at an apartment complex in the US southeastern state of Alabama has left multiple people dead.
 
Local media said Sunday the shooting spree occurred in the city of Auburn, Alabama but no official number of the victims has been released.

According to a local television station report, the violence took place late Saturday at University Heights Apartments in the city and involved football players.

The apartment complex was placed in a lockdown, and residents were unable to leave or enter the property until about 1:20 am (0520 GMT) Sunday.

Several ambulances and police cars were on the scene.
