Islam Times - The President of Kurdistan region, Masoud Barzani made a visit to Bulgaria and the United States, made an appearance on television, and met with officials of the two countries. However, it is still unknown why he made a private visit to Switzerland that took only 6 hours.

Barzani's visit to Switzerland was made after he transferred ‘one billion, two hundred and fifty million Euros’ to Switzerland.

A private source stated that the reason for the transfer is because the German Banks granted Barzani a time limit of 40 days to transfer these funds which he declined to reveal their source. Therefore, barzani transferred his money to Swiss banks in the form of checks.

The source added that Masoud landed in Zurich airport in Switzerland before heading to Bulgaria. He was accompanied with the Swiss police to his residence in Park Hayal Hotel which charges around $8000 a night.

In the evening, the Employees of the Swiss Bank visited Barzani to discuss the handling of the money with him, given that Massoud refused to personally go to the bank.  He was accompanied with a person called ‘Naseer Amosh’ who’s a Syrian Kurd married to a Swiss woman, and Massoud provided him with the Iraqi passport.

After leaving Switzerland, Masoud headed to Bulgaria where he failed to get weapons and then left them to the United States. After all that, Barzani still speaks about citizenship and shows concern for the people’s oil money.
